Maybe tomorrow my friends….

We are all fine and that includes Carlie. Still deciding on her treatment but at the moment she is comfortable and very happy. I know because of the amount of daily face kisses and licks.

It has been an intense few weeks but good decisions have been made and we are progressing. No more showings nor offers but we have had nothing but rain and cool temps. Positive that will change soon. Still running the furnace and fireplace daily. My cataracts have worsened so I can’t drive and need to limit my computer time. I am now on a waitlist for the surgery.

I have tons of thoughts and photos to share. Coming soon. I have tried a few times but was just too tired to continue. Yesterday the to do list actually included the blog.

Wishing this will be me this weekend.

About to head into the bath before a great dinner planned by both of us.  The girls have been sleeping with us every night so they are comforted.

Changes are hard, aren’t they? Very draining on our souls. New adventures are coming. Please take care of yourselves. Hugs.

Hopefully things will all come together soon. Too bad you don’t live in AB as people are not having to wait very long for cataract surgery. Hope they can fit you in soon. Take care.

Thank you, Contessa, for the reassuring post. So relieved about sweet Carlie. Sorry about the wait for the cataract surgery. Hope they get you in soon. Once it’s done you will find it life-changing! Take care of yourself. Lynn

Hello Contessa and Colin. Wonderful to see the wee update and that will keep us all happy.

  6. Glad to hear all is well.😊 Too bad about the cataract surgery wait. I think my time may be coming too. Our daughter has a Swiss Mountain dog that suffers like Carlie. Meds and a special diet help.

  7. Ok now it’s tomorrow 🙂 So tell us what’s happening and what are now the plans, please. Hopefully your cataract surgery will happen soon. I was so glad to get rid of my glasses. Good that Carlie feels better. Maybe she swallowed salt water while having fun and it was not becoming. Just a thought.

I’m glad to hear your Carlie girl is doing well; kisses and licks are always a good sign. I hope your wait for Cataracts isn’t too long. Soon, you will be back in Mexico, enjoying the beautiful weather and all those spectacular sunsets with clear eyes.

I just wanted to say thank you for your tip on purchasing pet medications from Discount Pet Meds. I ordered both Bravecto and Heartgard and saved 50%. It took about three weeks to get here, but it was most certainly worth the wait. I appreciate your hard work finding the deal and your kindness in sharing the information on your blog. Hope all gets a little less busy for all of you!

I do not think I could ever live in a place where some government decided my fate for healthcare. NO WAY at all. I took my aunt for her right eye a couple of days ago, and on the 1st of July, she will get the left one done. Our health is just too important and should not be left in the hands of someone else to determine when we get surgery or not. That is communist at its best, I think.
