My eye thing went okay, not perfect. \u00a0It was difficult for me to keep my eyes open. I think I need a new eyeglass prescription. After the move me thinks. I slept the first day and was off the computer the next day as well.<\/p>\n
A special Happy Birthday to Colin which was my eye laser day. Needless to say he was on his own that day – July 22nd. We will celebrate another time….actaully every day is special.<\/p>\n
And then suddenly it was Friday the 24th and I had a ton of computer stuff to sort out including two banking issues. The move is not going according to plan but or lovely cleaners cleaned the unit from 10 AM to 7 PM. It was grungy. I saw it tonight and it’s not perfect but way better and acceptable. \u00a0We will do more cleaning on our own. The \u00a0property manager is having trouble getting some trades to come in and do what needs to be done. Also I need to replace the second bedroom blinds but can’t find anyone to measure them for me.<\/p>\n
Lots of things to do including setting up internet in the new place.<\/p>\n
Today I started packing early and it is exhausting. Midnight now, so shower and bed.<\/p>\n
We sure have a ton of stuff to be moved. I have 6 people coming to help – for money of course! Should be a smooth move as I am fairly organized….hope to start sleeping at the new place which is 3 floors up, on Wednesday the 29th. Moving from 913 to 1113.<\/p>\n
