Mazatlan’s colors & shapes!

While in town a few days ago we came across some neat architecture!

Don’t you just love that shade of violet.  This next shot reminds me of a dog ( Colin thinks it looks more like a skinny pig because of the snout) holding his arms up.

Lots of color and detail...

This is a common expression here in Mexico " Welcome! My home is your home". Mexicans are very friendly and giving people. Notice the glass detail, embedded above the sign.

The grill covers a beautifully carved wooden door.

Someone is trying to create a rooftop garden!

And in a different neighborhood, a different style of home.  One of the beauties of Mazatlan is that every street has something interesting or different to look at.  You never know what is around the next corner….

Or behind the next gate…I hope you enjoyed your walk!!

Just makes me yearn for Maz all the more! I love the bright colors. I live around Dutch people, salt of the earth, but they don’t care much for a lot of color. It must be my bit of Mexican blood that makes me want lots of color!
