Getting old…..
…no not me but rather, the weather is getting old. I have waited all day in the hopes of posting sunny skies and warm temps but alas!
Even though the calander states it is Thursday, April 28th the girls seem to know better. They sent us a memo requesting we head south pronto!
So what to do but make a crock pot of halibut chowder with a Thai curry base………

Contessa, the soup looks delicious – wonder if I could make it with black seabass when we go to DE this summer. The girls look cozy and comfy as they snooze – so cute!
Connie, I am sure it would be delicious with seabass, I’ll send you the recipe.
Marty, let me know when you want to travel, I’ll go with you.
George, the beverages were great but the chowder was totally yummy even if I do say so myself.
Patti, very nasty snow, I wouldn’t have believed it, if you hadn’t sent photos.
We had another blizzard tonight! Man it’s getting old! I drove home from work on slushy roads-yuk! And people are getting really crabby. I am more than ready to head back to Mazatlan.
Nothing like a big bowl of chowder and of course the right beverage to keep you warm with this disgusting weather.
I sent some photos of the snow we got here last Saturday. Also Molly basked in the warm 19C yesterday.
Yes we still have snoiw in the air, and Mt.Washington still has lot,s . I’m making pea soup for Rog, not my fav.. but sure need hot soup for these cold day,s!! susie
Contessa, thank you for the recipe – appreciate your thoughtfulness!
As we say in Spanish, de nada which means you’re welcome.
Still no sun here either, definitely gotta go back to Mexico. Like the word of the day addition. You need to send me the recipe for the chowder, sounds delicious. My email is whiskeyread@gmail.com.
Thanks!
