Consequences

It had to happen eventually….just too too much rain yesterday!

It's raining on the inside of the front door. The carpet is all wet, etc, we will need to recaulk the window !!

My wonderful husband offered to start my car for me as he was leaving yesterday morning, it was a cool 7C.  As I was out the door just 5 minutes later I said ‘mucho gracias mi amore’.  Not moments later he came back in….”your car is flooded!”  “What the ????” I replied.

It seems that my car has a tiny window leak, so he covered it up and cancelled his appointment to drive me to mine!

Then I noticed that it was flooding, everywhere!

This is the road between our beach site and the house site....

It wasn't till we got back home that I saw this news item!

And so the rest of the day was spent inside, with heaters on! I refuse to post a photo of the fresh snow on the mountains and hills around us.  Enough said other than that our normal daily average high is 21C while the low is 9C, we barely surpassed the average low on this memorable day.

  2. Looks like you getting your share of rain as well there. Not too nice at this time of year. We can only hope for some days in the near future! Good luck with the water problems.

well the good news is that your roof wasn’t leaking because the rain was hitting on the wrong angle

  5. There is no “justice” in the world, one has to much water and one is dry like a dessert….
I meet a guy from Montana and on his truck plate it said “10000 lakes state” so came up to him and said “can you please give us one lake it will double the numbers of lakes in my country and you will not feel a thing”….
Well, it did not work till now….it must be on its way.
