Summer Solstice
Welcome to the first day of the summer season. Today the Sun is the furthest North from Earth. Here in Kelowna we are expecting a high of 30C with full sun, tomorrow also. Humidity is 39% so not too dry or too wet, in fact the perfect day. Mazatlan has the same temperature but a humidity of 76% which gives it a very different feel than here. Colin is out in the BMW, top down of course, on the way to a photo shoot. He gets to drive around in a golf cart at a golf course for a few hours and take photos of the greens. Tough job, eh! Meanwhile the girls and I might do some deadheading of the lilacs and then cruise around the resort in our golf cart! You just have to get out and enjoy the first day of summer. What will you do today?

awww, will you be posting photos of the greens or are they secret photos?
Well the day was a bit of a disappointment. By noon we were clouded in and it only hit 25C. Today promises a high of 29C but with thundershowers tonight and the next several days back to showers. Colin got his job done which was the priority. Mary, you can see mucho greens shots on his website under golf courses.
Worked. :o(
Hope you had a great summer day!

Gotta love it, about time! We don’t have golf carts or gardens but certainly enjoyed the weather.
Thank you for your comments on my blog.
We are spending some time with our youngest son in Toronto till Saturday, then will drive to the place where our rig stored and get it ready to hit the road.
Have a great summer.
We did not do a lot – but today…we are hanging sand dollars under a new palaypa – that now shades more of your plants!
Mary, photos of your palapa please!!!!
