Cycle of life
Just within the past 2 days we received news of the passing of an almost 18 year old doxie.
Then yesterday our friends Margo & Ken brought home Hilde. Hilde the 4th is a replacement for Hilde the 3rd who passed this past February.
Hilde is 9 weeks and is ready to lap all the love we will be giving her….puppy breath kisses…heaven! We got to see see her just minutes after she came home and she is obviously a very intelligent girl. Already Hilde has had an overnite sleepover, her first ferry ride, got stuck in traffic for close to 4 hours because of a mud slide on HWY 1 and christened the RV carpet.

Hilde looks like a real sweetie. Sorry to hear about your friend’s dog Chili. We are not looking forward to that time with Whiskey, hopefully she will still be around for a while.

18 years – I hope our girls stay with us that long. I already know I’m going to be a mess when we lose them. But they give us so much love and joy that the heartache is worth it. The new Hilde is sooo cute. Gotta break in that carpet.
Sooo sad for Chili,s parents and soooo happy for new puppy, they are sooooo cute!!
I do have a soft spot in my heart for doxies! Probably mentioned that before. My niece and her hubby just got one and she has claimed Mark as her “person.” They are loving the cute thing, especially after she woke them up one night to warn them there were burglars breaking into their car. She will be around for a long time-she has earned her place in the family.
