Chipmunk vs Carmeh

I wonder if one day she is going to catch this critter.

The other day she let us know that the chipmunk was 'right there'! Do you see how her tongue is all curled up in anticipation?

So we looked out the window and sure enough there it was...just below our window on the neighbours garden toad stool.

When the window is open I have to really watch her to be sure she doesn't go thru the screen in her attempt to catch the critter.

Yes she is cute in the photos but she was not so cute keeping us up all night Sunday.  She was sick, poor thing, coming out both ends.  It was hard on all of us but especially Colin who left at 6AM for Osoyoos on just under 2 hours sleep.  Everyone is back to normal today.  I’m off to Kelowna for a few errands including dropping off the completed passport applications.  Have a wonderful day everyone.

I feel so bad for them when they get sick and can’t tell us what’s really wrong. Have spent many a night getting thrown up on, changing sheets, cleaning carpets. But regardless, she is just a doll in those pictures. Our Scooter is the hunter in our family. Skitz could care less. But I honestly think she doesn’t see very well and so misses a lot of the excitement of squirrels and chipmunks and rabbits. She’s an indoor dog.

Sandie, you described Sunday nite perfectly, she was good Monday but we were all up Tuesday night. We think she ate some toy fuzz and it is irritating her intestines. It seems there is always one house dog and one active dog when they are in pairs:))

  2. Nice to see your guard dog is doing her job but also too bad that she got sick. Better time are ahead and the weather is getting better for you guys!
