The good, the bad and the ugly!

The good news stems from this article on violence & crime in the state of Sinaloa.  Is a nutshell it says that crime is down 29% in Mazatlan, robberies are up but homicides are down!!  Good news indeed, we might get robbed but not murdered 🙂

The bad news is that D Day has been set back to October 25th.  That was the maximum delay I was willing to negotiate.  Stay tuned, cuz I don’t drive the big bus, so I might get stuck here while Colin is working 🙁

And this is the ugly….

..another local critter!

You’d think that the cold winters would eliminate a lot of these critters here in the northlands, but we have our share of crawlies, too! At least no cockroaches! Son in Texas has to deal with those.

  3. Oh that four letter W word sure cuts into play time. Maybe you should take driving lessons for the bus?

Yikes! (For the critter). In Zacatacas in June, you cannot walk down the country roads without hearing crunch crunch crunch as you walk from all of the big green grosshoppers hopping about.

I laughed out loud when I read your good news bad news (even though it’s not too funny), I couldn’t help myself. While I trekked on through Sinaloa on this last trip down I didn’t have any problems.
