Que Pasa??
A bloggerland miracle. One of our friends needs surgery and the wait is 1 – 1 .5 years. A European reader of their blog suggested a semi private hospital in Toronto. The arrangements are almost complete. You just never know what will become of your blog once you hit publish. I think life is great!
Then there is the couple from San Diego now the guest of a Mexican prison, likely for some time. They had hidden 2 tons of marijuana in a false roof of their motorhome. Their RV tipped over while driving near Los Mochis, wonder why, eh! Hard to hide 2 tons of stuff.
Hurricane Jova did not create as much damage as it had potential to do, thank goodness. Puerto Vallarta at the north end was spared but most of the smaller communities further south are suffering greatly with flooding and some structural damage from the rain.
Back here at home Colin is working on deadlines. Mother Nature has given us a gift…..we are going to get everything done, from the business end, the put the yard to bed part and the loading the RV!!

How stupid can people be!! But good news for your friend. And especially good news for you guys to get stuff done.
There was never any doubt in my mind you folks wouldn’t get it all done :)…..one foot in front of the other my dear…!!!
hugs
Sure hope that one bad apple RVer won’t raise suspicions and cause problems for the rest of you headed to Mexico.
We are at the end of our summer trip and you are at the begining of yours,we wish you a very happy winter.
Looks like its all coming together, don’t load too much in the roof.
That wouldn’t be the Shouldice (sp?) clinic in TO by any chance?
They have been around for a long time!
Al, yes that is the place. What amazes me is that it took a reader from Austria to point it out to a Canadian.
Sometimes you just have to shake your head at some people. Looks like those guys ended up just where they deserved. Hope they find a nice home for the little dog.

I’m a full supporter of our health care system but Shouldice is a great example of how public/private co-operation would improve what we have. Some of our Ontario politicians have undergone treatment there (you walk off the operating table!), so it’s relatively “untouchable” for those ideologues that oppose private participation. Shouldice has been in operation for many years and is known around the world.
