It was in the forecast but came earlier than expected.
Colin serenaded in the wind and soon the rain followed.
One big huge puddle. We did have a few tiny breaks from the rain but not enough to venture out.
I felt sorry for the tourists from Mazatlan who came across on the panga ( what a ride that must have been ) and then boarded the Isla limousine service to a local hotel for their day in the sun and surf. None of these people ventured out onto the beach and after their meal they went back to Mazatlan. Prepaid and prebooked tours....no weather guarantee. We had no rain last year but did the year prior. Hopefully this was our token storm.
It was the perfect to stay inside and relax. We just loved it. Colin ventured out once to pee the girls and once to rescue our window screen as it flew off. I caught up on some computer stuff, read and made a serious start on the wine situation. It was a night for comfort food.
Pre packaged dough, add water, knead, let rest and prebake. Thanks Patti for the idea.
..add pizza sauce, onion, soya pepperoni, zucchini, carrot, broccoli, mushrooms and cheese! Voila, comfort food during a storm.
Today we awoke to blue sky and sun. Right back on track to another perfect day on Stone Island.

Glad I could help. Pizza looks amazing. Everyone needs a rain day to catch up. Miss You.
Patti…..we miss you too. Thanks again for the pizza idea.
Marty….especially in an RV!
Sandie….you have that right, they did not want to go out at all.
Connie….add whatever ingredients you like….I bought the pizza package mix at Walmart.
Angie….I agree the sound of the raindrops is so relaxing.
Elaine……..exactly, you HAVE to stay in and relax!! Certainly enjoyed the wine with my book.
George….well spoken….you are so right.
Cooking-the best thing to do on a stormy day.
Getting the girls to go out and take a pee break when it’s raining is almost impossible. Usually head under the rig. So glad you have sunshine and blue sky today. Enjoy.
That looks yummy – gonna try it on my boys here! TKS!
I love rainy days, they are so relaxing just listening to rain drops and the sound of the ocean makes it so peaceful…Yes Amiga that’s my goal to go back home and enjoy all the great things that we have, keep those pictures coming I am loving it. Hugs, Gracias 🙂
