Flowers from seeds…
Fish update:
Blog reader and good friend Chuck left a comment on yesterdays post. The fish I mentioned were not tuna but
the fish are Jack Cravels, they are called Toros by the Mexicans, very dark red meat. |
The huge catch has been the talk of the Isla and many pangas have been going out to replicate the feat.
MOM UPDATE:
She is doing much better having been home a week now. More able to get in and out of chairs and moving about easier. Apparently the bedside chairs in the hospital were too low for her to get up from. You think the staff might have noticed. Dad says she has lost 16 pounds of excess fluid in that last week. I really wish I could lose 16 pounds in a week 😎

Stuff sure grows fast there! So glad your mom is getting better, a load off your mind.
Two weeks and we’ll be in Mazatlan!!!
Marty….so looking forward to seeing you here. You can see my garden for yourself.
Connie…..gracias
Longdog….you are so right, she has now lost 24 lbs
Marjorie….I think it is the wind and salt air.
Susie…thanks, no not going now, will see here in a few months.
Good news about your mom! The photo of the doggies enjoying the flower garden is too cute!
Looks just like the tropical paradise it is. Leaving a space in the flower bed MIGHT help but, then again, maybe not 🙂 So glad to hear your mom is doing better. All that excess fluid makes it really hard to breathe so that loss was so important.
Good Morning Contessa,
Good news on the homefront re your Mom. Progress slowly but surely…wonderful!
My sweet peas are green and bushy but also no flowers, ditto re the nasturtiums.
Love the flowers from seed, especially with the girl,s!!Good to hear your mom is doing good, so are you not going to see her at this point!? Cheer,s
