…started the day with just easing into it, a bit of coffee, some stretches, some deep breathes and a huge appreciation for us just being here.
Enjoyed the fishermen/pelican performance thru our dirty front window.
….then a very very long beach walk at low tide! No crabs for the girls today!
Back home to Chava ( with the ever so serious expression ) selling fresh caught shrimp! Look at the size of them. 170 pesos per kilo. $13.35 per kilo or $6.67 per LB. Guess what's for dinner?
Where does the day go? Rush to shower, rush to eat, rush out the door to RV2 for our book club.
For a variety of reasons we were late getting started this year and this was the first one. The Rent Tent by Anita Diamant was the book under discussion. As you can see by the animated hand gestures and expressions the book was very thoroughly discussed. Written in 1997, it is a work of fiction woven loosely on stories of the bible, a great read many years later.
Then we celebrated the evening....we still had not drunk our New Years champagne, so that along with shrimp sauteed in butter, garlic & wine, with Caesar salad, fresh steamed beans, a carrot casserole and potatoes Romanoff ( the last two dug out of the freezer, left over from Christmas) we totally enjoyed Monday evening.
