Where did Monday go??
Where have the last 4 months gone?
Will someone please slow time down?
Jessie & Gary left about 8:30AM yesterday and got to Los Mochis with no difficulties. There are three 5th wheels travelling North together from here and so far so good. Safe travels folks. We really already miss you.
Monday 2PM was book club day at Marjorie’s. It was so hot and heavy, the discussion that is, that I forgot to take any photos. I guess I should have hired a photographer! We were reviewing the book ” INFIDEL” by Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a true story, a memoir actually of the author’s life to age 40!! As Tris said, “this should be on a required reading list for everyone in the world”!! This book has been a New York Times bestseller and the author was nominated by Time Magazine in 2005 as one of the top 1oo most influential people in the world!
The book is more than a memoir, it is a riveting tale of a girl born into a strict Muslin family and her journey growing up trying to be true to the teachings of the Quran, living thru the rise of the Muslin Brotherhood and her strength to break away and to seek the truth. Truly a phenomenal novel of being a thinking Mulsim in our time, a must read!!
Colin began drafting our new home which we hope to start building this summer. How do you like my new kitchen? He literally placed the counters, sinks and appliances so I could get a feel for it. Now I have to decide if I want any changes but so far it looks great.
