I woke up yesterday morning to see a fisherman and his horse having a bath in the ocean. The horse was being rubbed and rinsed with the ocean water and seemed to enjoy it. They were out rather deep and they swam for a bit side by side. By the time I located my glasses and camera it was almost over.
Here they are coming back to shore but at one point they were both just swimming side by side, it was a great sight. First thing the horse did was lay on its back and roll in the sand!
I still was on my first coffee when Colin called me outside to checkout our new bathroom!!!! I think it is obvious where he is sitting, the bathtub/shower is in the foreground, the towels next to the RV are the sink, the mirror and stained glass windows!!!!!! The washer/dryer are to Colin's left and the beige carpet on the bottom left is the furnace!!!!
As you can see it was now my turn. He wanted to be sure that I have enought room to manouever! Hello, I am in my nightie and still on that first cuppa!!!!
So what did this exercise teach? First that we needed to push the sink wall out a further 6 inches into my office area ( other side of the wall ) and that the sink basin would not be centered in front of the mirror. Actually it is a great way to be sure that all will be perfect when you are building in a tiny area.
...here are the final plans sent to the architect today. Don't you just love the toes!!! He said he never even noticed they were in the picture!!!
Then a fellow came to repair the internet....all I can say is that the jury is still out on that one. Mom & Dad, that is why I am not calling you.
We did end the day….
...with a lovely sunset!
It amazes me that the sun is setting so very much more to the right in the photo. Perhaps if it just sunk into the ocean we woud not notice the shift in location.

I would have loved to have seen the horse swimming. We have one guy who rides the beach on a horse here in Perula. It is a great sight to just see that.
And thank you for the margarita recipe. It is just perfect (but I did add a smidgen of sugar; my limes might have been a bit sour).
Mike…..jou would have loved it. Who knows, you still may see it. We are here till April 1st.
Pat….Colin make me coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bob…..thanks for posting, always nice. We live in a park home 44′ X 22′ in Kelowna, BC in an RV park. We have the current one for sale and are building a new one on our beach site once we sell the first one that is.
George…..we are ready to order the home oce we sell the current one.
Well….he could have at least brought you a fresh cuppa java while you patiently sat on your future fixture and thought ‘why am I allowing him to take a photo of me in my nightie.’
There would be no way I could take a photo of my wife in a nightie. You’re a good sport.
I’m a bit confused, is the motorhome going to be moved over a little bit? I don’t seem to recall reading when you started making plans for this room.
Just wondering.
You seem to consistently comment on my humble blog. Thank-you for taking the time to do that.
So nice that plans are now finalized and off to the architect. Soon you have a new house!
