Poco loco!!
Today was crazy! Our builder woke us up, to say he would be here in 5 minutes. That was the start of 7 meetings, all house related. Only two were planned. A 12 hour day all for the new place. So now I sit with Papa Murphy’s Pizza in the oven and a glass of vino blanco at hand.
I apologize for the lack of a proper post today. Also, as many of you likely noticed, our Captcha security code has been ill for a few days. That is now resolved so please get back to your part of this blog, the comment section.
My glass is empty and the pizza is listo…..adios till tomorrow!

Lots of long days, but what fun to choose colors, and finishes, soon you will be able to relax in your rv.
Jean….the colors and finishes are fun, it’s the width of this and the length of that, etc, that it tiring.
Bob…This was our ‘final’ home but we just couldn’t pass up on the lake front site. It will be a tough call in the fall, we will want to stay in the new house but as we will already be living in the RV and loaded to go, go we shall. Our life will be very different one year from now.
George….RELAX!!
SANDIE….just can’t leave the girls alone at home everyday….
Kevin….they don’t rule…especially in this house, they have in others. Colin usually always wears shorts!!
You know, when we moved into our house back in the winter of ’92, we said we’d never do that again.
They’d take us out “on a gurney”. Well, individually of course.
We didn’t realise there would be these “Ex-Pat assignments” in our future. Just the same, the house was never too big, although we did have nine people residing there at one point, and the hope is it won’t be too big for the two of us when we get back there.
Any and all “moves” we’ve experienced since the fall of ’99 when my wife was elevated to what her company refers to as the “Top Team” has been handled by movers. Thankfully.
I did have to sort out our own digs for the Puerto Rico episode, but for the European version we’ve had the assistance of relocation companies for each move along the way.
I don’t think we’d do it otherwise.
I admire your conviction and courage.
I’m sure it will be all worth it in the long run. In a way it’s kind of poignant that you “have to” turn around and leave again when the weather turns foul in the fall.
Pretty soon it will all come together, what will you do them???
Glad to see you’re letting the girls participate in all this planning since it’s their house!! lol Hang in there – eventually it will all come together and you can relax and enjoy.
Nice to see that Colin is wearing shorts, must mean it was a nice day. I hope you are taking the “girls” choices into consideration or do they rule!
