End of my rope!!!!!!!!!!!!
I reached the end of my rope last night ( Sunday ). After two extremely crazy and intense days of moving, cleaning, etc. I was finally making us dinner about 8:40PM when I smelled fire! I grabbed an extinguisher and Colin unplugged us and we searched and we searched and sniffed…finally nailed it down to the inverter under the bed. Something in there had burnt up, horrid electrical fire smell.
So we are now living with two 15Amp extension cords running out the windows. Fortunately we were able to get an RV tech to come out tomorrow, Tuesday morning.
It is now 6 PM Tuesday…I have been working on this blog for a few days!!!! Must confess that I fell off my rope late Monday afternoon!! The cement guys came with truck after truck of the wrong stuff to fill my extra parking area! Can’t go into it now. We finally moved our old shed to the new shed Monday PM as it started to rain:((
Had a late take out ( expensive ) dinner ! Feel asleep on the sofa…again!!
This morning we had 5 work crews here starting at 7:30AM…..was going to do the blog BUT we had NO power.!!!
Came home about 4PM and was going to do the blog but we had NO internet….took 80 minutes on the phone to restore that!!!
So now at 6:30PM, Tuesday I am posting something. I have fallen off the rope yet again….hopefully I will regain my balance sometime Wednesday!
Thank goodness I have wine in my life!!! I am going to attempt to make food in the RV tonight, using only propane of course. Stay tuned for the next saga……
….events may not be reported in chronological order…..can you blame me?

I think that the next month is going to be rough. Hang on to your sanity any way you can.
Colleen, doggie hugs are my grip onto reality. Thinking about puppies, a lot!!
Jean…you are so right….just gotta get to 10AM Friday…just might take time off on the weekend and read a book!
Marty…we are still living with 2 electric cords…I have no idea where any business stuff is but I will in a week or so.
George….maybe I should MR. Murphy on a vacation, all expenses paid.
Croft….thanks for your shoulder to lean on!! It helps.
Susie….I’d even give up wine to make this all go away.
Oh dear, I think you better get a tight grip on that rope. At least after this week you will only have to worry about one property.
You’re more stressed than I am-at least I have a house to operate in. That must have scared you badly to smell smoke so soon after the big fire. Don’t neglect to rest-what gets done gets done.
Good luck with the rest of the project, seems like way too much going on all at the same time. Hope mr. Murphey leaves you place soon.
We have all gone through the problems you are having at one time or another. The difference is, you are having them all at once! I don’t know how you are keeping your sanity through it all. Thank goodness for the wine!
Poor Colin working and working on project,s at home, you both better take it easy !! Yes and thank god for the wine is right!! Cheers!!!!
