Dare I admit it?
I really don't want to tell you but those are mushrooms growing in the living carpet in our RV!! Honestly~!
Can you imagine what I thought when I saw them? Colin initially laughed but got more serious when he realized that they just keep coming. In the middle of our 20 days with no power we noticed a wet spot in that part of the carpet. At first we thought it was from all the rain….but no, we had a very very very tiny minuscule leak from the kitchen tap connection. Colin dried it up as best we could, of course we had no extra electricity to put a fan on the area and we thought it was dry. Not!! Okay that makes three, after the inverter problem and propane problem. We are done. Well not really, as I have to see how we are going to get this mess cleaned up.
Meanwhile I have purchased a first class ticket from all my extra income, for Mr. Murphy, from here to the North Pole!! I hope he freezes up there and doesn't come back to bug anyone else! Murphy's Law!! Ha!
It was a horrid miserable wet weekend, lots of floods and disasters here in the Okanagan. Fortunately our lake is still going down drop by drop.

Whoaa….now that’s just wrong….mushrooms in the carpet??!!!
Can you make cream of mushroom soup??? What the heck?
I suggest to grow mushrooms and sell them in the farmers market it might help you balance your budget…..
Love the Rainbow picture.

Time to remove carpet, find out what kind of mushroom,s. very interesting fungi!! Not having a good time, thank gooodness for vino!!!
Great rainbow picture. Don’t know what to say about the mushrooms. I would have thought mildew and mold would have been the result.
Wow, and we are sweltering-both at home and here in Salt Lake City!
Neglected to mention the wildfires-one grew from 400 acres yesterday to 3000 today, Montana is on fire.
Wildlife or crops in the living area never seems to work out. Maybe some herbs in a pot or such. Longdogs excepted of course.
The weather HAS to dry out. I mean, aren’t in the Okanagan? Maybe I’m mixed up. Wouldn’t be a stretch. I always thought it was semi-arid.
This too shall pass.
*D’oh*. Stick a “you” in there somewhere appropriate. *mumble*
What a thrifty idea! And, they camouflage nicely. Well done!
Hey Ducks….I thought we did very well!
Bob….please let it pass quickly……the entire Okanagan is suffering financially because of the weather.
