The que pasa's in our life….
It has been a hectic week but things are slowing down a bit. I even had 20 minutes off yesterday to sit and read a book! No house stuff or my personal business stuff…..just 20 minutes of pleasure. Yes of course my desk is piled to overflowing with Colin's business stuff, but I believe I should be able to even get that caught up in the week ahead.
Despite putting up the fence Caeli continues to escape. Last time someone brought her back in a golf cart. She would be so easy to steal as she goes to everyone as opposed to Carmeh who would growl at you. So Colin got some large pieces of wood and stapled the fencing to that…..so far she has not escaped but she keeps looks for a way out and uses her nose to push and prod.
Things are moving along in the house, there really is tons to still get done. I find it hard to say no to everyone who wants a tour, the house is full of construction materials and really not safe for tours as of yet. The flooring is not in, nor lights nor countertops, plus, plus, plus. I can hardly wait for completion but it very well may be next spring. Everything takes time.
The fridge was only plugged in for a few hours when it started to beep. So we called Modulux ( house builder ), he directed us to call Coast Appliances where we bought all the appliances and they referred us to Domtech, a service company! It was only plugged in a few hours and it is taking me much longer to find someone to fix it! Big sigh! I certainly hope that this is not what is in store for me over the weeks to come.
Pat & Gord kindly had us over for what turned out to be a gourmet meal last night. I think I truly relaxed for the first time in a long while.
Here a just a few more photos that Colin took of the house delivery.

Glad you are getting to relax a bit. I hope the new dog fence keeps the pups safe.

Wow 20 minutes is good, we are so busy doing nothing , I barely had time for that myself, enjoy!!
You’re still making me tired!
