Not coming together:(

The one issue that has not been resolved re setting a departure date is becoming a bigger issue.  I spent a huge amount of time on it yesterday and will again today.  There is nothing I can do to change the outcome but to wait and see what will evolve.  Hopefully we are looking at just a few weeks rather than a few months delay.

I got called in on a cancellation at the dentist's office yesterday afternoon.  Thank goodness as the pain was quite bad.  However after 4 attempts to freeze my tooth I could still feel it in certain areas.  He is an excellent dentist and really  kept trying different things but finally he just went in and did his thing.  Turns out that I have no root left in that tooth but something at the tip of the root was causing excruciating pain and could not be frozen.  So today I am off to an Endodontic Specialist who has already informed me that he needs two two hour sessions.  After my two hours in the chair yesterday I am not looking forward to what today will bring.

Yesterday Colin took the RV in for an engine check that we had scheduled and all is well.  Our concern was the engine noise we had coming home last April.  The engine checks out just fine but we needed new engine batteries. Last changed in Acapulco five years ago so we were do due for the change.  Much better to do it here than in Mexico.

Here's Colin bringing home the RV. We did a great job parking it on our rental site. Just wish we were heading out in it.

Stan and I go to the endodontist-our dentist doesn’t like to do root canals. Those guys are really skilled and use computers and cameras. Plus this guy seems to be able to deaden my teeth better than my regular dentist.

  2. I hate dentists! Hope your next visit is better and hope things will come together for you sooner rather than later.

Gah! Not keen on dentists, and that’s putting it mildly. And that’s not to say I’ve ever encountered a dentist who was anything less than kind and gentle. I’ve just never been able to abide someone shoving their hands or tools in my mouth.

Good luck with the whole thing.
