-7C and babe it's cold!!!!
For you Americans that is 19F!! Yup it's cold out there and not so warm inside either and it is only October 22nd. We sleep with the heat off so it takes a while to warm things up in the morning. I know we could program our furnace but we never know what time we are going to get up, sometimes it is early and sometimes we sleep in.
Frost not only on the grass but also the lawn chairs!!
Fortunately today is going to be sunny and so about 8:15AM the sun came over the hill and started to help with the heating process. Love those windows but I did close all the blinds last night to help keep the heat in and it was only about 55F in here at 7:30AM. Just hate putting the blinds down but I guess that will be a winter thing. We normally have just left them open as no one can see inside unless they are out on the lake.
Colin is having a great visit with his Mom in Winnipeg. He gets back here tonight about 7:45PM if the plane is on time. So now I have a dilemma. Do I forgo my wino so I can pick him up at the airport?? There is also a 60% chance of rain/snow flurries tonight and I don't drive well in the dark at the best of times.
Hard to believe Colin's Mom, whom I call Mommio, is going to 98 in a few days.

It is clear out and there is definitely snow on the mountain but the angle of the sun does not allow for me to get the shot. Maybe later. I have to rush off and prepare for my trades guy of the day. Oh yes, they are still on the scene but much less often. Today may be problematic. Tune in tomorrow.

Colin’s mom looks very classy and young for her age!
Colin’s Mom looks about 25 years younger than her age and very well turned out. Looks like they are all having a good time. How wonderful!

I was going to take in the lawn chairs and roll up the rug on the deck today, but it has snowed all day. Maybe tomorrow things will dry up enough to put away.

Gah! That’s cold! Obviously I have the wrong impression of B.C’s interior. Somehow I didn’t think it got quite so cool in mid-October.

Nice to see Colin go back to see his mom and congrats on a young 98 year old Lady!! Yes -7 is too dang cold, thats why we head South,EH??? Hope your out of there sooner then later!! Warm in Calif.
That is almost unbelievable…98. I mean in the first pic, they could almost be husband and wife…seriously. 98???!!!! I am flabbergasted.
Just looking at that photo makes me shiver…going to get chilly here in Baja soon, too, but not to THAT degree.
Contessa, Colin’s mama looks fab!!! What is her secret? So glad he got to spend time with her and his brother and sister-in-law. Nothing better than family time!!! Bundle up and keep warm now!
