December already????
Where does the time go? The hours is a day pass too fast, a day is over in a flash and now a month gone!! Life is precious so I have to try to make every moment of every day count. How does one do that? I am going to try by doing things that I want to do. There are always things that have to be done but it is my choice at that moment in time.
We are just the other side of a full moon and the fish are hanging out in certain spots in the ocean and that brings the birds. Spent a bit of time just watching nature yesterday.
As the fish moved the pelicans and other birds just followed along. It was an amazing site.
We managed a bit of R & R yesterday, Colin got some guitar in and I read a few pages of a novel for our bookclub. Just before we went over to RV2 for the fish fry Colin took the girls for a walk……
....of course Caeli had to find a week old dead sting ray and roll in it!!! Then I couldn't find the dog shampoo so he used Ivory dish soap. It worked, not so stinky now!
Got over to RV2 in time to see the dorado and sailfish all cut up. Several of the ladies made salads and it was a great meal. Thanks to the fisherman for sharing their catch and doing all the work. A great treat.

I was up early this morning in time to watch some fishermen bring in their nets. I was still inside in my nightie when I took this.
By 9AM we were out with coffee and fruits. Had a vendor come by and we bought a tablecloth. Then Gord came by from Mazatlan for a visit. I had picked up some fresh lobster for him and Pat yesterday, only 100 pesos per kilo!! Cheap, cheap!! While here he & Colin attempted to put up our insect screen tent but decided not to as we would rather have a gazebo. The bugs are not so bad here that we need it but the shade would be welcome.
Then I loaned him the use of my bike for a bit as I won't be using it for a while yet. So it was, adjust the brakes, fill the tires, etc.
All of this by 10:30AM!! I only read 5 pages, oh well!
Later today we have been invited to a wedding celebration. It starts in four hours. I had better go relax some more.

Kevin…..perhaps on the East coast of Canada but no the West coast…..we do not eat meat!!!
George…the wedding was a blast….more tomorrow….lots of thick heads in the RV park this morning….we were good though.
Stan and I love to watch the gulls and pelicans follow the bait balls!
Actually, 100 pesos per kilo for lobster is not really that cheap. That’s about $3.63 a pound, and with lobster prices in Canada and the U.S at 30 year lows, that’s not really a fantastic deal. Considering you’re in Mexico, you probably paid an “average” price. Personally, lobster doesn’t do anything for me. I’ll take a good steak any day.
