Friday was my sister's last full day with us and we let her choose her activities.
Back to the fish market just across the shipping channel. That pelican just happened to fly into the shot.
That is our dinner being carved out of the huge dorado!
Lise did ask his permission for the photo. He was coming to work on the Isla.
Meanwhile I made a pancake breakfast.
Lise kept mentioning seeing the other side of the island in front of us so Colin arranged that.
Not only did they circle the island where the driver pointed out out the face of Jesus in the rocks they were given a tour of the bay. Certainly worth every peso!
Sister time......
....the last margarita!
We picked the perfect night to have drinks at the Maria Coral. Not only were the margaritas great, they were 2 for 1 and we had the most spectacular sunset.
Was this Lise's policeman looking for her?
The perfect sunset as presented to us my Mother Nature. Thanks to Colin for creating the panoramic view. The clouds are sensational.
Yesterday morning after check in and breakfast at the airport……
...we said the final adios!!
Lise got home last night with no problems or incidents. I just had to call and check on her. We did see her plane fly over our beach and gave the very very final wave. Poor Carmeh was upset when we came back the airport without her aunty. She actually had to go into the car and check. She went back and forth a few times and finally settled down. Caeli meanwhile had been sick yet again Friday night but did seem a bit better when we got back from the airport yesterday. We fed her a tiny amount of rice and scrambled egg every 2 hours ( I had no chicken and figured the egg was close enough ) till bed time and today she seems back to normal. Yesterday Colin and I just relaxed and today we are getting back into a routine.

Sounds like a great time was had by all!! I’m sure Lise will be fondly dreaming of Maz over the next few weeks.
I love/hate the last day. It’s so bittersweet. I tell Mazatlan that I will see her again soon. It’s been 11 months, too long!
Memories – you made alot with your sis – great pics – thanks for sharing!
I’m glad that you had a good visit with your sister! 🙂
Isn’t it difficult to say good bye to your loved ones !!

You have great photos !!
Take care … TnT
Saying good-bye to (good) visitors is never much fun, but you were able some time to spend with your sister. I’m sure she had a wonderful time.
Such a great visit with your sister but the time sure flies by. Was so nice that you could enjoy each others company in your paradise.
I enjoyed reading & seeing pictures of your sister’s visit.
