Too cool Tuesday!

Not as cool as north of us but cool for Mazatlan standards. Winds gusting 40 to 45 km/h, steady at 30km/h.  High today of 17.9C ( 64F ), with a normal high of 25C ( 77F ) at this time of year.

Yes, that is a local walking on the beach in a down filled jacket. We have seen scarves and gloves but we are Canadian. Colin is still in shorts and a shirt. I have added a fleece top and a windbreaker.

Wind blown beach.

Only the lonely turkey vulture is out hanging about.

Looks like the cooler temperatures have brought out the shrimp boats.

They were out all of last night also.

Too cool to hang out on the beach or even outside in your yard.  Other than a brief beach walk  with too much wind and blowing sand….. what does one do?  Put on a pot of soup and invite the neighbours over?  Of course.

So we packed in 6 adults, 3 dogs and one parrot and had a happy happy hour.

Followed by a hearty soup dinner and lots of great conversation.

Meanwhile those icy northern winds just kept blowing.  Stay warm wherever you are. A bit of sun this morning, perhaps we will get a sunset tonight.  It has been a while.

  1. Can always have fun even if the weather doesn’t co-operate. Better than that white fluffy cold stuff.

Well, you guys are at least 20 C warmer than us in chilly Langley B.C.

We’ll be lucky here in Las Cruces if the weather warms up to what you all had today. Whatever the weather, you’re in a beautiful paradise surrounded by good food and friends! 🙂
