Que Pasa?
We had a power failure yesterday which I think is a legitimate excuse to not have made a post. So today I bring you bits & pieces from the past two days.
On Tuesday afternoon we were treated to a display of how a caballero breaks in a horse on the beach.
This fellow is returning his horses home while a fisherman just begins his work of putting out a net.
Blue skies Friday morning and another sail boat in the bay. That is the Baja ferry coming into port.
Always so much to see without leaving our site. So much to hear, a strolling musician walking down the beach singing to himself, the sound of the surf crashing, a car driving past playing some great Mexican music, the wind in the palms……
Alas one of my favorite hibiscus plants is dying.
Ishmael thought it might be bugs in the roots but it just seems to be a sick plant.
My zinnias are attracting many beautiful critters. Love the blue on this butterfly.
One of the best parts of Wednesday was the arrival of blog readers from California. Roger and Chris have been following my blog for some time and it seems that I enticed them to make the drive down to Tres Amigos RV Park. So far they love the Isla and of course their front row ocean site. Welcome to Stone Island friends. They are here for two weeks.
...and then it was dinner by candlelight last night. Another great 2 days in paradise.
The very very best part is that we still have over two months here. Still so much to see and to experience.

It’s lovely and wonderful that you are enjoying it so much. Seems that there are a lot of horses using the beach. Doesn’t that leave you with a lot of “horse pollution”?
Just more fun in the sun. Looks like the park is not very full this year, too bad.
Enjoy your two remaining months we only have 68 days left to explore a bit more.

George…… the reason we have openings is because many have built a home on the Isla or rented in Mazatlan or the Isla. Only about 2 or 3 have stopped coming to Mazatlan and are RVing in the US this winter. I like to think of it as the natural evolution of things. So yes there is space but it is already getting booking up for next season.
