Road trip!!
Alas not for all of us, just Colin. He left yesterday for his annual week at the International Guitar Festival in Culiacan. I was suppose to go, well at least for part of the week but some things are just not meant to be.
Adios from all your girls....
We always miss him so much when he is away. The time passes much too slowly.
Unfortunately he is having problems with the laptop and can’t send me any messages. Hope to hear form him later today via an internet cafe.

All day at festival. Berta Rojas played tonight. Grande diner at restaurant with David Russell and Maria, Berta Rojas from Paraguay, Heriberto, Isela, Daniel, Vinicio, and many other people you know. Food was fabulous, Mongolia camerones to die for. I must have eaten 30. 3 beers negro modelo and then Berta opened her guitar case. She sang and played, Isela sang, Heriberto played. One of the most special evenings ever with the music and singing in the restaurant Just got home. Had 4 hours sleep last night. No luck with internet in downtown re need password. No time here to sort out. Everything fab. here. Chris Lobos does jazz concert Friday night. He is incredible. Kevin would love it. Please let him know. I come home Sat. by sunset. Festival over Friday. Do love you so much. Your blog is a life saver.

Sounds like Colin got there safe and sound and is enjoying himself. Sorry you weren’t able to join him. Hope the time goes by quicker that you think it will.
Colin always enjoys those weeks with the music, too bad about the internet thou.

I have the laptop at the concert hall, plugged into their internet. So far can do same as before. Still trying to figure out sending on email.
