We leave in exactly 14 days.! SIGH!!
But in the meantime we are having a fabulous time. As I had mentioned before, we really had wanted to experience Semana Santa and we are. Yesterday, Sunday, had to be described as a perfect day.
With the extreme tides, there was lots of beach for the girls to roam.
That crab was just waiting for them.
The flying nun????
Caeli swimming out to find the crab Colin had thrown into the ocean. Then she was overtaken by a wave but she handled it just fine.
This family showed up at 7:30AM and began to construct a structure....
They were selling cocos plus water in a bag with a straw plus fruit in a cup, Good for them. They did sit there all day and made very few sales. Everyone says that the masses of people are still coming. However this family had fun from Grampa down to the very very young baby.
I spent the entire day out on the patio enjoying the action. This is one of my favorite sections of my flowers. I believe this hibiscus plant is going to be a tree.
I watched this cabellero ( cowboy ) carefully place his charges before taking their photo. Good for him.
Sunset and our coco family is leaving for the day.
Shortly thereafter this white car came down to beach on the road right beside us, turned left and got stuck!! First Mel, a local in an ATV tried to get them out but no luck. The Ernie came along in his Jeep. Not an easy task.
Ernie got them out but the driver couldn't get himself up the road. He kept turning his tires the wrong way. As you can see the tide was coming in and getting higher wave after wave. Finally a local Mexican got in the car....
...he gunned it and got them out and up the road. Good job!!
Never ever a dull moment here on the Isla. Today of course has been jam packed which is why this post is a tad late.

I hear coco water is good for allergies. I’d be buying one a day if I were there. Still remember my mom buying them and putting a hole in the “eyes” so we could drink the water. We loved it!
I look forward to your Semana Santa report Contessa!
Wow, those doggies look happy!
The time will go quickly.
We have only 14 days and we will be home, enjoying this relaxing journey.
