Thousands and thousands come to the Isla
I have seen photos but it is so much more being here in person.
Somewhat overwhelming! A sea of beach umbrellas, often placed in front of each other, some five rows deep.
Non stop energy and lots of music and dancing.
Their piece of sand.
Half way down the beach towards Mazatlan looking towards our end of the beach.
Constant motion.
FUN!!
I just had to be a part of it so we walked down the beach and then back up to Letty's for refreshment. We had a banda band playing behind us the entire time. Loud!
This little guy made his own pool and had an empty tostada bag as his toy.
Can you find our RV behind all of this?
I slowly pick my way through the bodies.
This was all yesterday and it will happen again today and tomorrow! Many packed up their garbage. Some took it home, others left it in piles and yet others littered the beach. Very early this morning many locals from the Isla were walking the beach with huge black garbage bags cleaning. Another local, Danny, whom many of us know, had a very long trailer that he drove along the beach picking up the bags for disposal. Kudos to the people of the Isla.

Hmmm…..that’s a lot of people needing restrooms. Hope it all goes smoothly with such a huge crowd.
Longdog…..well there is the ocean :)) but if you eat at a restaurant they will give you a bathroom pass. Otherwise for about 5 pesos you can buy your way in, toilet paper included!
TnT…..just loving it all.
Connie…lots of folks and lots os policia walking the beach, no problems here or in Mazatlan.
Marty….you would love it!
Inger….very hot and humid here…perfect. keep the heat turned on there for us.
George….the beauty is that we have front row seats and don’t have to walk thru the crowd but we love it. The majority are gone at sunset.

That is a lot of people. Glad to hear it is in a great spirit and everyone is having fun !!

Yeppir lotsa people for sure , glad we were not there for that crowd!
We enjoyed the peace and quiet while we were there.
