Happy Easter
Hope you are all having a great day!
The party continues here on the Isla next to Mazatlan. Saturday we saw fewer people on the beach. However there are over 400,000 tourist in the city and the hotels are full.
Our girls spent most of the day with their nose in the air smelling all the BBQ’s. We are having to be extra cautious walking them on the beach. So many chicken bones and other delights laying there for them.
Sadly we lost one of the dogs from RV2 on Saturday. Apparently the dog did have a stroke Friday night. On the way back from the vet on Saturday the dog died in the panga on the way back to the Isla. Roo will be missed by everyone. Very very sad for the family. Another RVer spent the night in hospital and will likely fly back to the USA once released while her husband will drive their RV back. All I can say is love and live to the fullest each day! Needless to say the combined RV park pot luck was cancelled.
There are some folks camping on the beach overnight, at least the past two nights. We have been told that today, Easter Sunday will be the last big party. It is definitely party time here on the beach! Amazingly I heard a child cry for the first time all week and it was a tiny baby and it lasted all of two minutes. Mexican children are the happiest!

Happy Easter to you as well.
Live everyday to the fullest is our motto too!
A belated Happy Easter!
Those photos remind me of the summer in Puerto Rico. We lived on the west end of the island (Cabo Rojo), which as it turns out, is where a lot of the folks from the other end of the island (San Juan, say) would come for vacation.
I never did wonder where folks in the Caribbean go for some sun and fun, but sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know.
The beach in Boqueron looked pretty much like your pictures. Just jam packed.
Then on August 8th, when the kids had to be back in school? *poof* totally empty.
It was quite the sight to see.
