The party winds down
Easter Sunday brought many more to the Isla beach than Saturday had. It was another great day. The entire Semana Santa weekend had no violence at all either here or in Mazatlan. Lifeguards did 52 rescues but there were no deaths.
This poor girl somehow hurt her leg just at the end of the day.
It was a huge party.
Sunday seemed to be mostly family orientated.
Our girls met another doxie on the beach but all they wanted to do was comb the beach for leftovers. The other weiner is a beach dog and likely eats off the beach and street every day. Ours would certainly get sick so we have to keep a very close eye on them.
No one wanted to go home.
The beach slowly emptied once it got dark.
Caeli slept a deep sleep even with all the noise and activity around her.
I have no idea where the last ten years have gone but Caeli turned 9 today. She was an April 1st puppy! Today she is getting lots of extra hugs. Happy Birthday Caeli!!
The party has also wound down for us as we started the big pack up today.

Happy birthday, Caeli – she looks so comfy cuddled on her beach lounge! It doesn’t seem possible that it is time to think of heading north – seems like you just got there – time flies when you’re having fun!
