Hard to believe but our beach is still fairly busy. Must be the great weather we are having. I forgot to mention the wonderful Sunday brunch we had on Easter Sunday.
John makes a great gluten free pancake.
Not sure who the photographer was?? Thanks for inviting us!
Still keeping my plants alive and making arrangements for them to be cared for when we leave. This is one of my new dresses, material cost 40 pesos and the dressmaker cost me 110 pesos. A brand new custom dress for $12.00 US.
This shot was taken last spring.
My garden has grown in the last 12 months. I can hardly wait to see it in November.
We have begun this years' packing.....just has to be done, sadly. Did I mention that the weather is now perfect :((
Not sure if the horse or the rider is the famous one but a video was being made this morning. Beautiful horse that dances.
We had to go into Centro today for an appointment and on the way we took a wee walk and found this tree. I can't see how this old home on Constitution could be salvaged ( unless you have mucho pesos ). It almost seems that the tree is growing out of the wall.
The roots have become one with the structure. Quite a sight.
From the tree house we checked out a wonderful store full of this and that and some great bargains. Yes we bought something for our Kelowna house but you shall just have to wait till we get back home before I show you our purchase.
Finally got back to the Isla only to find I had a mystery visitor. Another blogger looking for Contessa!! Please send me an email to let me know who I missed meeting. I do hope you enjoyed your visit to the Isla today. Sorry we were gone but this last week is going to be beyond hectic. Ask anyone here…..we are usually always here!!

It must be difficult to leave paradise! 🙁
Cheryl…..it is :((
George…it looks we really will be living each day to the fullest.
Marty….well my hibiscus aren’t doing as good as I would like but everything else is. It is so sad to leave.
Peter…except for the price of wine. I guess Colin will just have to do a few more jobs every month to keep me in vino!
Marcia….thank you so much for your reply. Looking forward to tomorrow.
Good things come to an end, but then you have next winter to look forward too! Take your time and enjoy the last few days.
I hear the saying in Mazatlan is, stick a pencil in the ground and it will sprout because anything will grow in Mazatlan. I’m feeling sad for you-I never want to leave.
Kelowna is already wonderful!
Summer will be excellent, except for the price of wine.
Time to come home to Canada!
Cheers!
Hola Contessa,
My husband Ray and I stopped by to see you guys today because I’ve been reading your blog and enjoying your pictures. Plus, we wanted to meet the other intrepid souls who couragelessly stayed thru Semena Santa when practically everybody else has gone home. We’ll be at Mar Rosa thru Sunday if you plan to be on this side we could meet for drinks or lunch.
Hasta luego,
Marcia
