Hasta Noviembre !

Hasta Noviembre!

See you in November!!  That is what we have been saying over and over, even to the people working in the mercado.  They now know why they won’t be seeing us for several months but that we will be back.  In reply they all wish us a safe trip.  Viaje seguro or buen viaje !

We spent Sunday packing but not rushing.  The girls knew something was up and stuck very close to us even with the dog fence taken down.

Of course things never go smoothly.

Our jack pads became stuck to the jacks and Colin had to really work to get them separated. A first for us.

Then one of the tires was down to 48 PSI and of course it was an inside dual. That took a while and then he decided to check all the tires.

Colin was concerned about the airbags filling as we had that problem on the way south in November. We did have an RV tech on standby in Mazatlan but they filled!!

We had our final beach time with a glass of vino blanco.

We watched these kids playing soccer. They have such a good time.

My wonderful massage lady came at 7PM to give me my final massage which took away all the stress of packing.  We had a late dinner about 9PM and more vino of course.  We are not in a hurry to leave Monday morning as we are only going 300 miles, a first for us.  We are really going to try and keep the miles travelled per day to 300.

Yes it is sad to leave but we will be back.  Hasta Noviembre!

I should have internet the next two nights so be sure to check back for part one of the trek North.

John & Val…welcome to commenting on the blog. I LOVE comments.

Connie….you do understand how we feel 🙂

Maria….are you serious? For those who don’t know, Maria left the Isla to go back to work on her golf course.

Peter…there are bound to be lots of adventures but no mechanical ones I hope.

      Rod….welcome home!

Jannose….did you read Maria’s comment? Stay south is my advice.

TnT…glad you made it safely but this snow business had to go.

George..I must be getting old, even 278 miles is now too long.

Rocmoc…thanks for the invite…how about late October? Going home via Lukeville.

We love having two places but everytime we leave one to go to the other, we get that sad feeling, too. It’s always sad to leave but like you said “we will be back.” Cute pic of the four of you enjoying your final beach time before heading north. Safe travels!

Hope the trip is safe and warm. It’s thinking about being sunny in the Okanagan.

Have a safe trip home. We are here until April 25th and not in any hurry to get back to AB as it is still snowing. Perhaps we will see you again this summer, who knows.

  7. Trent and Teresa says:

We just got home tonight, and we pretty much stuck to the 300 miles per day rule.

I was tempted to stretch out some of the days, but remembered last year that we both got run down and sick by the time we got home.

    Safe travels !!

    Take care … TnT

  8. We head out in the morning for our last 300 miles. Thats a long day for us, good thing we rested here for a week.
Travel safe and enjoy the journey.
