Never had hives before !

Before I start….this is NOT tick related.

Yahoo, got the year end completed by 2PM on Friday and it will be delivered via UPS to our accountant in Vancouver first thing this morning.

Colin spent the weekend sorting and tidying and putting our house back together.  I finally emptied 5 boxes and got my desk organized.  Of course I have a stack of work to do but I will be sitting at an organized desk. I can sit at my desk and see the lake, perfect!  It was nice to see the dining room table again

This was a quick shot as they bounced past. The winds over the weekend were at 30km/h with gusts to 50km/h. The lake had whitecaps and the waterfowl were having a roller coaster of a time. By the look of these babies the egg addling program is not active on Duck Lake. Thank goodness.

By the way we have managed to keep the geese off our lawn but could not stop them from landing on the flat sunroom roof at 5:30AM Sunday where they proceeded to wake us up.  It was funny even at that time of the morning.

More cleaning and sorting on Sunday including the girls.

What happened?

It started with a red rash Friday morning and full blown hives 24 hours later. A quick visit to a walk in clinic and 2 prescriptions later has reduced them somewhat.

...still dealing with the issue midday today.

I have a call into my vein doctor.  Could this be a reaction to my vein injections?  I don’t think it is a gluten reaction as I have been extremely careful of what goes into my mouth.

Could be-those shots have all kinds of fillers. Might have corn or another allergen in them.

Marty….I was wondering about corn but I did tolerate corn tortillas for 6 weeks. The vein Dr. says no fillers.

      Susie…it is truly horrible.

Cheryl…I would have done the same thing. I am on 2 heavy duty prescription meds and they are taking a long time kicking in.

George….haven’t even touched any plants, just paperwork.

Connie…not even a tiny bit of fun.

Jean…4PM Tuesday and still a tad uncomfortable.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re so uncomfortable. I had a severe reaction in the middle of the night in Oregon after eating at a casino seafood buffet. I took a Benadryl. I’d eaten all kinds of seafood before and never had a problem. I “freaked out” and drove my RV to the emergency room. The doctor who saw me suspected it was the seafood, and said it was possibly the manner in which it was prepared and/or solutions added to keep it fresh, etc… He gave me a “huge” dose of Benedryl and the hives were gone by the next morning.

  4. The hives are not fun, had them once many years ago, my issue was handling handling plants in our garden. Hope thats not your problem.

Wow, hope you find hive relief soon – not fun!!!
