The last days of July

Lucky ducks out there enjoying Duck Lake.

We wondered what this was all about at the time. Turns out that this fellow was ditching his old dock from his property across the lake onto our golf course beach. Hey we caught him in the act. Well I actually read about a deserted dock that had 'washed up' on our beach in the monthly minutes so I let management know the real story.

Out for my daily walk.

...where I happened upon this peach tree growing in a flower bed.

Had some young geese drop by for lunch on our lawn. Can you see Caeli on the bottom right giving them a royal send off. They still managed to leave a few callings cards before she scared them off.

34C and our neighbor has a blow torch on his roof. Can't be helped when you are getting a new roof but I kept my eye out. There have been too many wildfires started around here this week.

LeAnn Rimes did not keep these shoes on for long. After threes songs she was barefoot.

...and much more relaxed. Colin says it was a great concert.

Colin caught the moon last week in full bloom.

      Teri….I love it also.

      George…too quickly methinks.

Colleen…I am sorry I missed the concert. Colin and I are debating entering out home into the local housing awards this fall.

Rod….you do have to come visit.

      Connie…Gracias.

Cheryl….thanks. But you also have the potential of a visit to Mazatlan.

  2. another summer month passes us by.,

  3. Great pictures…..especially the last one. Should be in a magazine. I heard LeeAnn at the very beginning of her career. Even as a kid, she had a powerhouse of a voice.

Yes, the summer is quickly passing by and it’s sad in a way. However, you have a wonderful time to look forward to in Mazatlan.

Your home is so beautiful – the lake is wonderful!

Colin “nailed it” with the photo of LeAnn – she looks better too as previously she was very thin…
