Some progress & some fun

Colin is almost caught up with his photoshop but does 3 more photo shoots this week.  It was a glorious long weekend with sun and a bit of heat.  We decided to move the RV out of the storage compound onto our friend’s site just down the street from us.

We got permission to use his site for 2 weeks as this will speed up our packing.

I was in the lead in the golf cart and the girls rode with with Colin.  I think they really thought we were going on a big trip and were disappointed when we stopped in front of our house.  We are lucky that our street ( many in the park are not ) is so wide.

Colin was able to drain the water tank, flush it and fill it with soft water.

Once we moved it onto the RV pad he checked the tire pressures and filled them as needed.  One inside dually was really low.  The jacks are down, slides out, electricity plugged in and the fridge turned on.  Looks like we just might be getting ready to go.  Finally things are starting to come together.

Next we played a trick on a neighbor. He just hates spiders!

He was out for the evening and came home to find spiders everywhere, even in his golf cart.

He doesn’t know who did it yet!  It was all in good fun.  We had about a dozen plastic spiders going up his front steps but I think the big dangling one would had got him as he went in his door.

The girls are loving the sun streaming in through the windows.

Caeli is happy to spend her days snoozing.

But Carmeh moves from bed to sofa to floor and just follows us around the house. She seldom relaxes.

We are all counting down the days till we move into the RV for the next 6 months.
