We have been living in a sea of fog this week. That means that the sun doesn't come out and it's way cool as in cold.
The forecast is that this unusual fog is to lift by Saturday. Good news for those flying in and out of the Kelowna Airport as many flights have been cancelled. Bad news for the locals. The fog is to be replaced by an Arctic Front. Good thing we are leaving Sunday morning 🙂 Well I hope so.
If things can go wrong they are. I did get the all clear today from my surgeon that I am good to go..so to speak. Loads of work yet to do to make me fully functioning again. We have experienced a few ‘issues’ but they will be dealt with. Most importantly is that the monies have been collected.
On the happy side, we were interviewed today for a feature article in the Okanagan Home Magazine. They will be doing an article on us and our home in the Spring editon of the magazine.
Sad for us...but our friends here at Holiday Park Resort left last Saturday and may reach the Isla before us. They will be our very own next door neighbours at Tres Amigos RV Park.
Carmeh is very sad as I have no time for her at all. Well she is getting fed and a walk per day. Soon she will be spoilt with tons of attention as she sits on my lap as we drive.
So much to do and so little time……………….

I think Carmeh is looking for a blankie. Be sure you leave that artic air up there when you head down. We have already had a cold front blow through and I hate the cold.
Colleen….I covered her right after I took that photo. You are a doxie Mom at heart.
George…we love travelling down the road in the RV all snugged in together.
Janet…..I hear you! COLD!!! Hope to see you on the road.
Bob…I guess we will find out. Here they are many streets over but on the Isla we will be tight. You are right, we do deserve a break.
Soon you will be spending lots of time together, get things ready, hit the road and have a great journey.
You are so right about he COLD front! Looks like we are going to boogey!
it has been in the 70s and I haven’t checked a definite surprise. We start packing our camper today, it shouldn’t take long!
Safe journeys we’ll be a day behind you. Silver Dodge dually, Lance Camper towing a Razor. If we don’t catch up see you in Mazatlan for Carnival.
Have a safe journey.
So, if your neighbours are going to be your neighbours, I guess it’s a good thing if you like them as neighbours.
That sounds right, right?
Too bad you’re not getting the temps they’ll be having today in Calgary. 21? Where’d that come from?
Have a safe trip south. At this point you’ve earned a getaway.
