Tick Tock

The hours in each day are speeding by as we get closer to departure day.  We are still hoping to leave on Sunday morning but that means a lot more work to be done during each of those hours.  Sadly I have not been keeping up my end of things by putting things away in the RV.  There is stuff everywhere waiting to be loaded into the right areas.  I need a good 8 hours in there with no interruptions.  I like to have a good run at it so I can put things in logical places that I will remember.  Today just might be that day.

We are supposed to have sun and highs of 12C but instead we continue with a heavy fog and much dampness.  Today I can justify heating up the RV for a full day of sorting and storing.  I did go in for an hour yesterday but it was too cold to think properly. Colin did a big photo job yesterday and even stayed up half the night editing it.  Today he will deliver the CD to the client while meeting yet another client about another job.  Glad we are not trying to fly in and out of here this week.  Many flights have been delayed or cancelled. Now that the books are closed until April I will send an invoice with an April date.  It will be nice to have that cheque waiting for us when we get home.

The girls are just hanging out in the warmest place they can find.

We have been using the storage under our window seat to keep dog stuff. I have always been careful to not let the girls know this. Colin decided to pack up whatever we needed out of there the other night.

So at 10PM Carmeh is pulling toys left and right out of that bin. It was play time. She even managed to wake Caeli up. We used to over buy toys and now have new ones in reserve. Busted.

Found this shot in my camera, left over from last weeks moon. Halloween is coming soon.

  1. Good luck with getting everything put away and getting on the road again!
    Another nice moon shot.

George…I think we are going to be ready for Sunday morning.

Teri…exactly, she never knew what to play with first.

Sandy….milles gracias. I love the way you wrote “precious Isla”.

Colleen….doxies are so special and they all seem to to the same things. Many who travel to the Isla in the winter come running over for hugs from our girls as they miss theirs so much. We are lucky to be able to travel with ours.

Carmeh looks like a kid on Christmas morning!

That is a very spooky moon shot – I really like it! Wishing traveling mercies for you all the way to your precious Isla!

  4. Love the shots of the girls. They are so cute. I can see my dachsies “toasting” by the fireplace too. And the “toybox” shots are so funny.
