Que pasa

Colin entertaining the neighbors a few nights ago. Thanks for the photo John.

Just another morning walk, same beach but always something different.

This time Caeli came face to face with a grasshopper.

Bit by bit our plants are coming back.

Within a few weeks our bougainvillea should be blooming once again.

Meanwhile our new hibiscus continue to amaze us with their beauty.

We enjoyed a lovely happy hour ( s ) last evening.

All so happy to be on the Isla!

Adios to Ivy and her parents Sandi and Tony ~ they left for Lo de Marcos this morning.

The girls got a proper bath this morning complete with baby shampoo.

I was finally was able to deliver my gift of a pot of flowers to the matriarch of the family living way down the beach in an old abandoned restaurant. She has been admiring our flowers when she walks past and I just decided to treat her. This family used to live in the Colonia and somehow ended up on the beach but it is a very long walk for them to purchase their basic foods.

N0t sure what the rest of the day will bring.  Certainly books, music, vino and a lovely ocean breeze.
