Greenpeace!!
The new Rainbow Warrior arrived in Mazatlan this morning. It is on a tour of Mexico.
It is here until mid afternoon Thursday when it will sail for Puerto Vallarta. You can view the Mazatlan harbour from the Rainbow Warrior webcam that updates every minute. It will be interesting to watch the ship sail away through the webcam.

Greenpeace doesn’t do it for me. A little too militant for my liking.

Kevin…regardless of politics it is still a beautiful boat and worth a visit. I think militant is too strong a word, as Greenpeace really is not combative.
Hi, Contessa — That is so cool! You may know this already, but the original Rainbow Warrior was sunk off the coast of New Zealand. It is now a scuba diving shipwreck site. I got to dive on it back in 2002 when I was in New Zealand! I loved that the stern was now covered with “jewel anemones” of different colors that made it look like a “rainbow” of a different sort!
I did not realize there was a “new” Rainbow Warrior. Thanks for the photo! Hope the timing is right for a nice silhouette for some good sunsets!
Suzanne….once never knows what is going to happen around here!! Also some new adventure but not anywhere near as fabulous as scuba diving on a wreck.
A friend used to let the founder of Greenpeace sleep on her couch. Even the founder says the group has changed-I dunno-I have no firsthand knowledge.
Marty….I find that overall Greenpeace does more good than harm.

George….it sure does and we do hope to be able to get over to do a tour later today. I have had a cold for the past few days so I shall see how I am in a few hours.
