Que Pasa !

~ the road into the Isla has recently been graded so those of you wanting to make a stop on your way North will find it a quick and easy drive.

~ on Wednesday, we had the first of 7 cruise ships coming into port this month.

It left early so no sunset background.

It sure was pretty later.

~ the exodus North has begun, we have 3 RV’s from RV 2 leaving this week.  See you all in November.  It is sad to say adios to our Isla friends but then we all get to see our friends back home.  Interesting having 2 sets of friends, one set for each half the year in a different location.  It takes a bit to get the heart and head wrapped around that concept.

~ Colin is enjoying his week in Culiacan.

Cavatina Duo, Denis Azabagic ( guitar ) & Eugenia Moliner ( flute )

~you can listen to their amazing music here.  It takes a minute to load, and if you click on about you can listen as you read their story.

After their performance he gets to know them better over a late dinner. He does this with each artist every evening of the festival.

~his Spanish lessons are paying off as he is able to understand the Master Classes.

~the girls and I are keeping busy with beach walks in the morning and afternoon walks in the botanical gardens.

The gardens are becoming lovelier each year and they are not officially open.

After Caeli barked at the horses this morning.....

...Carmeh dug up a wee crab. We were almost home and they were a bit behind me when I heard the barking and turned and saw the digging going on.

It was just a wee thing with blue claws so possibly a baby. I think Caeli got bit in the mouth or on her tongue as she kept shaking her head and she was easily persuaded to leave it live. She is just fine now.

~ it is getting hotter each day and we still have a month to go.  Hard to believe that we have been here four months today and leave in exactly one month on April 7th.  We plan to enjoy each of our remaining days to the fullest.

Their has been much more wave action these past days, also many more dolphin sightings.

~life on the Isla continues to be wonderful.

George….we are having some winds for the first time this winter but it is still good.

Connie….it is nice but difficult on the adios part.

Neil & Alison….welcome to the blog and comment section.. I so wish we had met, likely we were here, just not too active on the site. The road is in our opinion 100% better than in past years. Glad you noticed that. We would love to meet you, we are here Nov. 7 to April 7 th, give or take a few days. I will send you an email.

Isn’t it nice to enjoy two places? Like you, heart strings pulled when going from one to another. Your last photo looks so soothing – love the blue!

    Hi Contessa
We are first timers this winter and have had a great time. We have followed your blog for a few years. We are in Punta Cerritos, heading North and decided to take drive in the car and check out the road in (don’t see why all the complaints…….thought it was quite good ) I didn’t see any activity at your site or we would have introduced ourselves and had a chat. Anyway…..WOW! What a nice park! Will be on our itinerary next year and maybe we will get to meet you
