Dead mouse and Murphy’s Law
Did I not just post yesterday that we have not had a mouse or rat this season?
We had a wee odor and during the day yesterday the odor became overbearing. Then we saw a mouse turd on the bed. Then a light bulb went on in Colin’s mind. He stared a search and in the bedroom behind a drawer we found it.
So glad that our RV is constructed the way it is, we were easily able to find the source of the smell
Good catch Colin? But if that mouse is dead, who pooped on the bed?
Note to self….set out a dozen traps.
Sigh!!!!!!!!!!! What next?
Wine, anyone?

Sorry about all your recent troubles. Seems you’ve had it all lately. One consolation, it can only get better!!! And at least you are warm. We’ve just had more snow in Edmonton and still freezing weather. Suppose to finally get above zero next week. Enjoy the rest of your stay.
Susan…more snow! Oh no. Yes we are warm and we will enjoy the rest of our stay however short it is.
Bob…..mice are easy to catch. The fleas are the worst. So far we are holding our own in that department.
George….so do we, the traps remain empty.

Gah! I hate the little buggers. Bad enough that I had them in the shed, it’s been a couple decades since we’ve had them in the house. There were too many little places where they could come in, including a “cat flap” that I agreed to. Not any more!
Good luck with all your little creatures. The ones you’d like to keep (healthy, the dogs) and the ones you can live without. (Fleas, mice.) Never a dull moment.
Hmm, hopefully you will catch them all very soon.

Is that a glue trap? I think I need to take some home. Traps, not mice.
Yes it was a sticky trap only we had no idea it was there. It had got put there a few years ago and was forgotten about but it still caught the critter. The sticky traps work much better than any other trap and we use peanut butter as bait.
