Taking back the control & a spectacular sunset.

While here in Mexico we mostly live outside and are very close to nature so it is understandable that nature likes to come in and visit.

The horse in the garden situation seems to be under control. The termites were a 24 hour nightmare that may or may never happen again.  We are happy to report that we  have not seen or smelled any more mice nor seen evidence of a visit.  The traps remain empty.  As to the fleas they seen to be controlled, however due to the lifecycle of the flea it will be an ongoing battle.  Needless to say the RV will be fumigated once we get back home.

This is the first time in all of our years RVing in Mexico that we have been hit with so much in such a short amount of time.  I think we are good for at least another 10 years with no further problems.  Yes I did touch wood as I typed that.

We are slowly slowly cleaning our things and packing up.  The plan is to work a few hours each day and to enjoy the beauty and relaxation the Isla has to offer the rest of the day.

Mother Nature apologized for all of our disturbances by sending us an unusual sunset.  These were all taken the same evening.   The clouds and the colors are just as God created them.

“The clouds and the colors are just as God created them.” Without a doubt the very best artist I know – wonderful sunset pictures.

Enjoy your last few days. Looks like you could use a little R&R after your insect episodes. We are enjoying our last few weeks here as well and are just happy we are not going home to the snow. Hopefully it will all be gone by May 15.

  3. Soon you be back home and back to work.
Getting ready for another winter down south.

George…..we are actually looking forward to going home this year. We want to enjoy our new house and I for one am looking forward to a long soak in our tub.

Suzanne…thanks, it was a most unusual sunset.

Bob…..well if we have extra guests they just might die form the cold or the fumigator will get them. One year we did have a gecko travel in the car and he lived for s long while.

Oh, that is a series of masterpieces, indeed! Each one, an original! So glad you are taking some “aaaahhh” time with everything that has been going on!

Well let me just say, it wasn’t too long after we moved into the house that we rented in Puerto Rico, that we hired a “Bug Man” who came once a month. Otherwise we would have been overrun. Mostly “Hormigas locas”. But we had the odd Cucaracha, and then there was that huge centipede!
Hopefully you won’t have any extra “guests” for the trip home.
