Starting to say adios amigos

On our midday walk yesterday we noticed a commotion ahead of us.

These very lucky fishermen had a boat load of fish. They had to call in two pickup trucks to haul the fish away. Both of the trucks were filled to the brim. A great catch for these fellows.

The name of the fish sounds like 'macho' but I'm sure that is not how it is spelt. We were told that is is a good fish best served as a fillet. I bet this is the last time this season we see a catch this size.

After more packing and such we walked down to the other end of the beach towards the restaurants where we met friends for a late lunch/early dinner.  They are leaving 2 days before us but have a lovely four month European vacation planned.  We shared a huge zarandeado ( grilled ) fish dinner.  It was so good that I neglected to get a photo of the meal.

However Linda got a shot of us and her hubby Kevin along with Micheal our wonderful host. I have to say that the margaritas were the best ever. See you in November!
