It seems that we are doing more eating and chatting than anything else. Chris was still a tad under the weather yesterday so we didn’t do too much. We did go for a tour of the park in the golf cart.
Just behind the rec centre, across from what we call bird island, we found a painted turtle sunning itself.
What was Juan taking a photo of?
Yet another turtle and he was under water. Is my camera good or what?
Suddenly a huge catfish swam by. Huge, now I know what makes those large splashes in the lake. The white fluff on the water comes from the cottonwood trees in the area. Sometimes it looks like it is snowing.
Later in the afternoon Juan played bartender.
It was great to have Chris join us for dinner. He didn't eat much but at least he tasted everything.
Much later in the evening Juan asked for a vodka. We knew at that very moment that he was on the mend 🙂
Another wonderful but late, late evening.
For those on my blog who don’t know Chris and Juan, they live in Monterry, Mexico and have RVed there since 2004. Of course they also travel to the US but prefer to boondock in Mexico. Chris writes a fabulous blog called Living & Boondocking in Mexico.

I’ve read their blog, just left a comment over there. Looks like you’re having fun. Should be a better summer, now that your hip is fixed and your house is built.
Sounds like you are enjoying the company, nice that Juan is on the mend now too.
Too bad Chris was so sick, hopefully he will have a good day today. Glad you are having fun and that
the weather is so nice.
Time for some of that wonderful Okanagan wine!
