Que Pasa
~ I’m off to Edmonton this morning and have no idea when I will be back so I packed heavy. It’s going to get cold there soon.
~ I’ve lost 18 pounds in the past four months. Hopefully I will be able to stick to my diet and not succumb to stress eating. I’ll try to pack a lunch with me each day.
~ I’ve hired Dr. Geek, yes that is his name, to come to Dad’s tomorrow afternoon to get that old desktop iMAc in Contessa working condition. I need it to work, to research and of course to keep in touch with you all.
~ Dad had more fluid removed from his right lung yesterday and has been on a lot of Lasix to clear his tissues of fluid. He had a lot of pain following the procedure, so a doctor ordered a shot of morphine which whacked him out and he became very confused. Sadly the nurses did not recognize that and where not happy with my call to please keep an eye on him. Good thing my brother was there.
~ I have an 8:00AM appointment with the heart specialist Monday morning. Yes it is a holiday, just goes to show you how important this meeting is going to be.
~ the RV Park on the Isla is fine as is our site and our palapa. I have photos to show you but no time. Have to leave to catch my plane.
~ Oh yeah, UPS finally came through.

17 lbs pretty good I have lost 28 lbs since May.

Dear Contessa, I feel like a stalker as I check your blog so often to see if there has been an update…sorry. Hope you and your Dad are both doing better now that you are together. Prayers lifted.
