Crazy busy #2

I finally figured it out after writing this three times.  For some reason, maybe the old computer, I can only do a post as long as the previous one and it cuts off.  What a waste of time and my mind as I can’t remember what I had post.  So I guess I am limited to short posts.

Just wanted to add that the blood has come out of the carpet on round two and the condo is looking as good as it can.  I just have to make sure it is perfectly tidy when I leave every morning, in case there is a showing.  Hopefully it will sell sooner than later but then I will be in the position of having nowhere to live and you can be certain I won’t be welcomed at any of my sibs homes.  I am taking this weekend off from the hospital to work on Dad’s finances and do a few things.  I am trying hard not to think about how Dad is doing or if anyone is with him.

I activated my old cell phone that I got for myself while I was in hospital last summer having my hip replaced.  The plan I have on a month to month is great.  For $75.00 per month I have unlimited in/out calls and long distance.  I manage 4-5 quick calls to Colin thru the day.  He is my rock.  He has been so busy doing some fabulous photography including an 11,000 sq ft home.  That is not a typo, yes eleven thousand!!  He also was hired to take photos of Prince Edward a few days ago.

Besides renewing my nursing skills, I have joined the modern world and have learnt to text.  I really don’t like it and most especially because my phone is small and the buttons are too tiny to see.  However it is the way the sibs communicate as their phones have limited minutes.  Sigh!

Meanwhile it seems that Caeli is really missing me.  Colin says she spends the entire day ( when she is not sleeping ) walking around our house crying and whimpering.  I am so looking forward to seeing my family soon.

Colin in foreground. I found this in the social media.

  1. Good luck with the sale of the condo. We got lucky with Ma’s house, had a firm offer even before it was listed, closes the end of October.

Even if you sell the condo quickly, won’t there be a period of time until the closing? Hang in there girl. You are doing exactly what you need to do.

I’m sure everything will fall into place. One thing at a time. Patience, prayer and hope.

  4. Good to hear that you have the condo in ship shape now. That is now one less thing to think about. You Dad looks to being doing better than he was a week or two ago. I like how he is giving out stickers to the nurses and staff that are deserving of them.
