Sunday was a quiet day

Sunday was our first day to just take it easy and go with the flow.  My one major disappointment was the plant man.  Santiago showed up with an empty truck.  I think we were the last stop for him Sunday afternoon.  I am so used to just buying whatever I want from him.  He did however promise to come just for me on Tuesday.  I certainly hope so as half my garden was destroyed from all of the waves during the many storms and the hurricane.

Carmeh likes to snooze with her toys. She is the one who carries them up to the sofa.

Caeli loves to sleep in our bed and often goes to bed a few hours before the rest of us.

She somehow manages to get under the covers and in the perfect position on her own.

One of the two hibiscus that survived and it rewarded me on Sunday.

For some reason we have a constant bunch of pelicans and sea gulls feeding out front. Very entertaining.

The half of my garden that survived.

After our early morning walk way down the beach we sat for the first time and had our fruit and coffee and just took it all in, the smells, the sounds and the peace of it all.  I later got my hummingbird food made and put up the feeder.  I had a customer within 10 minutes.  Colin played his guitar for a long while and I even managed to finish the last 32 pages of a novel I had started in early November.  Thank goodness as I am more than ready to start a new book.

As we sat outside so did the girls ( Caeli is to be found under the chaise in her den ). They follow us where ever we go, inside or out.

Mother Nature did not disappoint.

The end to a pretty prefect day on the Isla.

The only bad thing is that the shrimp guy never showed up but maybe manana.
