Que Pasa

The first que pasa of the year.  We have really just being laying low and doing the minimal.  We did have to clean inside the RV the other day, the dust was pretty thick.

This is mostly how we spend the evenings, nothing requiring too much energy.

Our Mazatlan RV tech dropped by on Sunday and fixed our hot water switch. The system was only working on propane but now we are back to being able to use either. We prefer to use electric while parked. Look at that reflection on the RV and that is before waxing. Hasn't been waxed since last year.

We are using a carry bag for Carmeh while on the beach. It is easier on Colin to carry her that way. We were going to order a dog stroller for her but were unable to find someone to bring it down for us. I should have thought about that weeks ago and it would have worked out. If anyone knows of someone coming down here who can bring me one please let me know. I need about 7 days to order it from Amazon.

We let her walk a bit and when she gets tired or we think she has walked enough....

...into the bag she goes. She loves being in the bag which makes things easier. Fortunately Caeli doesn't seem to mind walking although she loves being carried in her bag also, but she needs the exercise.

It was a double party last night. First we had a small happy hour for newly arrived friends now here for 2 months @ Marjorie's. They needed to escape the cold of the USA. Then we ended up joining the RV Park happy hour at Jose's. Always something to do here if you want to be busy.

We have had 2 days of grey skies and some coolish weather. Suddenly last night at sunset the sun peeked out.

Thank goodness my camera was in Colin's pocket.

The colours were magnificent.

It is a cool 79F as I write this at 3:30PM.  Nothing to complain about.  So glad I am not in Edmonton where it has been a bone chilling -48C with the wind chill nor back home in Kelowna where for the first time in 35 years they declared a snow day and closed the schools. Twelve inches of  snow is serious stuff.  Life remains great here on the Isla.  As a blog reader of many years and who is now happily parked here in Tres Amigos RV Park, said to me last night, ” I like it here and I want to come back, for sure !!”  I replied ” Sue,what took you so long?”   😮

Looks like the good life! A friend of mine lives in Vernon, and he does not know where to put the next dump of snow. It’s incredible! Here in Langley it got to 11C today, quite a switch from the -6C we had last week. Still no snow this season… Fingers crossed.

    Enjoy la vida mas fina!

  2. Definitely some beautiful sunsets there! Cabri was at -32 the other day, sure are glad that we aren’t there for the winter!
