Life and a very special Isla sunset

We seem to be moving at warp speed.  Now that the taxes are done we are tending to the annual spring to do’s.  Driving here and there and pulling out the credit card here and there. Getting things for the RV and our home that need replacing. Updating this and that & odds and ends.  I did my 4th leg vein treatment today, two more to go.  I received an email from a reader suggesting I should look into systemic enzymes which might eliminate the need to be made into a ‘pin cushion’ as per Bob of The Caretaker Chronicles .  By taking theses enzymes I may eradicate the need for this annual procedure plus I’m sure they are good for many other things our bodies require.  Thanks so much Kay for the suggestion.  We have been so busy that I have not had a chance to Google the enzymes yet.  Plus my computer is disappearing for a day or two.  Hopefully only the one.  More on that when it gets back.

Ah, to be so yound on a leairue Mondsy afternonn

Ah, to be so young  and carefree on a Monday morning.  Wait, he should be in school???

Had a quick vet visit today, actually late evening…..nothing too serious.  We were concerned with Carmeh’s balance and it seems she does have a problem with her right back leg.  Nothing major but she does have hot spots along her spine.  All we can do is monitor her. So glad that Colin got all of the dog ramps into place.  Also found a few tiny problems with Caeli but they should be resolved shortly.  As Susan our vet mentioned, the girls are 10 and 12 now 🙁   Thanks to Colin for picking up the Papa Murphy’s pizza in Vernon for our late dinner tonight.  The store here in Kelowna closed 2 years ago, so we only get it now when Colin is in Vernon seeing a client.  Yummy and so light with a lovely thin crust.  Yes, Colin has the  jobs coming in and now we wait for the perfect weather conditions to do the photography.  Lots of wind today and tonight, we have white caps on our lake.

I caught Carmeh napping in the sunyesterdy.

I caught Carmeh napping in the sun yesterday.  She sure does look relaxed.

Last month, on March 16th the Isla experienced a most unusual sunset.

The colors were extreme.

The colors were extreme.

As were the reflections.

Not to mention the colors.

Not to mention color change after color change.

I haven't had a chance to post these photos until tonight.

I can't recall ever seeing such a colorful sky at this time of day on the Isla.

I can’t recall ever seeing such a colorful sky at this time of day on the Isla.  The colors were extraordinary from the soft yellows of the first shot which colored everything and onto the ensuing hues of orange to a variety of pinks and mauves.  It was spectacular.

So glad I was finally able to share this

So glad I was finally able to share this marvel with you.

So glad the “girls” are doing well. I had a scare with Cali (it’s detailed on my blog), but thank God she’s OK. Thanks for sharing the photos – they’re beautiful…
