Almost didn’t post
What a day 😯  Accountant x 6 re my Dad’s estate. Lawyer x 3 re my Dad’s estate. Sibling communication x 4 re the estate. Went to the bank for our company and us and got us some fresh produce, finally. Colin gone at 8 AM and maybe back by 10PM. Long day for both of us. Dogs walked x 2. Dogs fed x 2. Got my Dad’s 2014 tax refund in the mail, good news. Mailed all the money we owe for our company business taxes. Our landscape guy ( aka Norma’s lawn guy ) put in our flower pot irrigation system. Took 2 years to get that done. Don’t ask! Went to the new chiropractor for the third time. She thinks I am doing better but suggests that Colin and I both stop doing so much. That isn’t going to happen. She doesn’t understand that we only work so many months of the year so that we can play 6 months of the year. We need to work when the opportunity is there. Our bodies are still screwed up the 5 months we are on the Isla just enjoying the good life. So if doing nothing then doesn’t help how will slowing down here help?
I’m sure I skipped about 20 small items but no matter. Oh I forgot about the head on collision that closed the highway for over 3 hours. You would have been amazed to see me drive down the dividing lane between the 2 lanes going North and the 2 lanes going South 💡  Well I had to get home didn’t I?
So here I am, home alone. Waiting to crack open that bottle of special vino. Why wait? The first sip told me that I wanted 4 cases for my birthday gift this month and I am not sharing 😳 Thank goodness for Rod advising not once but twice this week to only drink the good stuff.
Not sad to be alone tonight enjoying my special vino sip by sip.

Enjoy the wine, your earned it. Norma has been keeping her lawn boy very busy repairing damage from the winters landslide last winter. Lots of work to do!
The wine was superb. I made it last for hours. You certainly have a lot of work to do. Sad that you just finally had your yard in perfect shape.
What is the name of the wine? 🙂
I have of photo of it in my previous post. It is from a local winery here in Lake Country, called 50th Parallel Estate and it is a 2014 Pinot Gris. They are members of the BC VQA. The description on the bottle which I am now reading for the first time says ‘Lush Nectarine, Mandarin Orange, Ripe Peaches and Peras. Racy, Fresh and Very Moreish.’ It is 13.5% alcohol.
Glad you took our advice. It works for us!
